The Destination Wedding Experience

Our first couple from Brazil, Lucio turned out to be a career wedding photographer. So pressure was on our founder and photographer Paul to create something spectacular that they would love. We had a great time with this amazing couple and we managed to get a 5 star review.

As part of their Norwegian cruise, Andressa and Lucio decided to renew their vows when their ship docked in Flåm. They were picked up and started their day with Eva at Hygge Salon, for hair and makeup styling. After a quick photoshoot, Andressa and Lucio made their way to their mountaintop vow renewal.

After a short hike, they reached the ceremony venue with stunning views of Aurlandsfjord. The mountaintop ceremony venue in the heart of the Norwegian West coast made the perfect backdrop for their viking themed day with accessories like rabbit skins and swords. In the presence of a symbolic celebrant they tied the knot with the Norse handfasting ritual. They then made their vows for one another and exchanged rings. The ceremony ended with a toast using viking drinking horns.

After the ceremony, the couple went on an SUV photoshoot adventure and the weather conditions perfect for epic wedding pictures. They took pictures at the Stegastein viewpoint and went on to several other spots for breathtaking views of the Norwegian nature.

After the photoshoot they enjoyed a fjord charcuterie BBQ lunch prepared with as many locally sourced ingredients as possible. The couple listened to tales of local food traditions told by the local chef that had prepared the mountaintop lunch.

The beautiful day ended with a car ride back to the cruise ship where the couple continued their vacation and tour of the Norwegian fjords and West coast.
