The Destination Wedding Experience

Andy and Jackie are a lovely couple from the UK. They decided to go for an elopement adventure in Norway at the end of August. The ceremony took place at one of our mountainside venues called Skaldegard, overlooking the fjord and mountains. The bride and groom smiled throughout the entire ceremony and with the handfasting ritual, which symbolises Jackie and Andy’s union and commitment to one another, they literally tied the knot. This ritual represents the bond of marriage, emphasising that they are now intertwined in life and love.

After saying I do and exchanging rings, the couple raised their glasses and cut the wedding cake with a sword. The fjord charcuterie BBQ lunch followed straight after, where they were first presented with stories of local food traditions.

After lunch it was time for the SUV photoshoot adventure where they explored the best local sights and viewpoints for wedding pictures, such as Stegastein viewpoint. The weather provided perfect lighting and many beautiful moments were captured on photos and videos.
