The Destination Wedding Experience

This magical rainy August day started with hair styling at Hygge Salon with stylist Eva. The brides then made their way to one of our waterfront fjord ceremony venues where they would stand by each other and say their vows. They said I do and exchanged rings as a symbol of the unbreakable bond and commitment between them. A representation of their love, fidelity, and promise to support each other throughout life. Finally, they tied the knot with the Norse traditional handfasting ritual.

After the wedding ceremony, the brides raised their traditional Norse drinking horns and made a toast, followed by wedding cake from a local bakery. For lunch the brides enjoyed traditional fjord heritage meals made with locally sourced produce. Our chef also shared tales of local food traditions .

After the delicious meal, the brides went on an SUV photoshoot adventure to amazing viewpoints and mountaintops for wedding pictures that captured moments they will never forget.
