The Destination Wedding Experience

Liam & Amy were traveling through Norway. They stayed in Balestrand, where they hired a yacht. They cruised through the UNESCO Nærøy Fjord and stopped in a village called Gudvangen, where Liam told Amy they would be picking up a tourist. Shortly after the “random tourist” (our photographer Paul) got on board, Liam & Amy went outside on the bow of the boat. Paul went upstairs on the roof and filmed and photographed as Liam proposed. Amy then understood who Paul was and why he was on the yacht. After the proposal, they had some champagne, fruit, and snacks onboard, followed by a photo session on the yacht with Nærøyfjord in the background.

The next day, Paul met the couple in town and took them on an SUV photoshoot adventure to beautiful viewpoints, where we had a quick photo session for added pictures on land, which added some variation to their proposal photos.

The experience was extraordinary and emotional.

The Travel Experience

Liam & Amy continued their yacht cruise and visited several places in their Norway vacation.

They spent some time in Bergen, also known as “The heart of the fjords.”

They hiked up to Mefjellet mountaintop.

They visited St. Olaf’s Church, a stave church in Balestrand.

They visited Vigeland Sculpture Park in Oslo.

They saw amazing waterfalls in Førde.
