The Destination Wedding Experience

Melina started the day with her maid of honour at Eva’s hair and makeup salon. Later on, Joel made his way to one of our private fjord venue where he and a couple of close friends waited for Melina to arrive.

Joel stood by the wedding arch, facing the fjord and mountains and waited for Melina to walk down to the waterfront venue where they would say their vows. Both said I do, joined hands and with the traditional handfasting ceremony they vowed eternal love to each other.

They then had a toast with their friends and cut the wedding cake with a sword. They helped each other get the first bite of the cake and then it was time for the SUV photoshoot adventure. They captured beautiful pictures by the water, on the mountains and with friends at the epic Stegastein viewpoint.

After some time relaxing at the hotel, Melinda and Joel had a fjord romantic dinner & fire experience with delicious food, party sparkles and evening pictures. All in all, a day where memories for a lifetime were made.

Melina & Joel decided to go for several extras that made their day even more memorable.

Hair and makeup at Hygge salon with our stylist Eva.

They added drone video for more variation in their videos and pictures package.

The chose also to add professional video editing to their package for professional results that will last a lifetime.

They opted for live streaming of the event to allow family and friends to follow their fjord elopement.

Destination Wedding Accommodation

Melina & Joel arranged their own accommodation at Aurland Fjordhytter.

The Travel Experience

Melina & Joel took advantage of being in Norway to visit several other wonderful sites.

At Lysefjord, South West of Norway, they hiked up to Preikestolen, also known as the Pulpit Rock.

They traveled to Trondheim, where one can visit the 11th century Gothic Nidaros Cathedral.

They experienced Northern lights and sand beaches in Lofoten.
