The Destination Wedding Experience
Natalie and Sam came from England to get legally married in Norway. A positive couple who embraced the Norwegian climate and had a wonderful day.
They got married at a private fjord venue and their family and close friends watched as they tied the knot with a traditional handfasting ritual.
Following the ceremony, the bride and groom raised their glasses, had some wedding cake sliced with a sword and enjoyed an outdoor lunch with vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Following lunch, the newlyweds went on an SUV photoshoot adventure to the nearby mountains and viewpoints for beautiful pictures and we were lucky enough to be greeted by some sheep grazing in the mountains.
The day ended with a private restaurant dinner, a dance in the garden and some drinks in Ægir, the local viking pub.
Additional Wedding Experiences
Natalie & Sam decided to go for several extras to make their wedding day extra special:
Live-streaming, which allowed family and friends who couldn’t be there follow the event.
Flåmsbrygga bandstand was booked for their first dance.
Professional videography from Rotera Wedding Films.
Destination Wedding Accommodation
We arranged their stay at our partner Flåmsbrygga Hotel in Flåm.
The Travel Experience
Natalie & Sam visited the Viking Valley in Gudvangen where they tried their luck at axe throwing and bow and arrow target practice. They also took the time to try kayaking in the pristine fjord.
